Google Inc will launch a new version of its Nexus 7 tablet powered by Qualcomm Inc's Snapdragon processor around July

Google plans to release a new version of the Nexus 7 tablet powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, reports Reuters. The upcoming Google Nexus tablet would have a high-resolution display, thinner bezel and have a Snapdragon Chip, instead of a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor says Reuter’s sources. No details about the model number of the Qualcomm chip or the display size yet.

Google unveiled the Nexus 7 last June, and the 3G version with 32GB storage was announced at the Google I/O in October last year. Google Nexus 7 16GB WiFi version went on sale in India from the Google Play Store few weeks back at a price tag of Rs. 15,999. Asus launched the 32GB WiFi and 32GB 3G versions of the tablet in India yesterday for Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 21,999, respectively.

No details about the pricing yet, but it is expected at a starting price of $199 similar to the Nexus 7 tablet, or lesser than that to compete with the other low-cost Android tablets. Google plans to ship 8 million units of Nexus 7 tablets in the second half of this year.

LG, Pantech wants smart watch the buzz too. LG says it also has its own kind of thing Google Glass

Early rumors that Apple is working solid on iWatch has everyone struggling to get into the fashion smart

watch.

First – Samsung joined with a semi-official announcement of their own intelligent surveillance efforts. Last

week we

heard that Google’s Android team is developing portable wrist device too.

Now LG and Pantech want in this madness of vaporware.

According to the anonymous source who spoke to the Korea Times, LG is developing the next generation smart watch

and Google products such glass also.

“It’s an important part of many products not currently marketed in development by LG Electronics,” said the

source. “The

company has spared no effort to invest in products that you think are essential to stay ahead of smart

technology on the

market, whatever the situation maybe.”

Not to be outdone, Pantech decided today to release a designer watch self-concept:

New T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 handset hits the FCC

Cheapest Nokia Windows Phone 8 device to date is called Lumia 520 worldwide, but you will be able to buy the Lumia 521 from T-Mobile USA.

The fourth-largest U.S. carrier has already confirmed that it will launch the new Lumia, but did not specify an exact release date. However, I think the time is now, as the smartphone (going by the model number RM-917) has been approved by the FCC today.

As expected, the Lumia 521 has AWS connectivity, and will (probably) sold by T-Mobile 4G HSPA + device. Other than that, expect the new terminal WP8 to offer: a 4-inch screen with 800 x 480 pixels, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, A-GPS, Bluetoth 3.0, 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 5 megapixel rear camera, 521MB of RAM, MicroSD card support (up to 64GB), 8GB of internal memory and a 1430 mAh battery.

I guess T-Mobile will sell the Nokia Lumia 521 free on the contract. The vehicle is already selling two Windows Phone 8 mobile phones – Nokia Lumia 810, HTC and 8X, both offered for $ 0 with new arrangements of 2-year contract.

U.S. aside, the Lumia 520 is going to be released in most of the world soon, even in large markets like China and India – where the smartphone has considerable potential to become a best-seller.

Apple iTV rumored to have 4K display

A year ago, the rumor says that Apple may launch its mythical iTV in late 2012. When that time came,

however, rumors himself said that deals content had thrown a spanner in the works, delaying all rumored. So

perhaps it is not surprising that the rumor has reared its head again – now says that the iTV will be released

in late 2013 or early 2014.

This Tiny Car Drives Itself

We've seen some cool ideas for self-driving cars, but it's complicated designing one that can work alongside other, human-driven vehicles. One way to get around that? Make a teeny, tiny car that's small enough to take to the sidewalks, squeezing through urban walkways instead of the road.
Unveiled Tuesday in Tsukuba, Japan, the Hitachi Robot for Personal Intelligent Transport System, or goofishly acronymed "Ropits," is a one-person vehicle designed to shepherd people with difficulty moving. It uses GPS and laser sensors to stay on course, and a gyro sensor to keep upright on un-even ground. That tech is especially important for a vehicle like this, since sidewalks and other pedestrian areas aren't as uniform as roads.
Sounds simple enough to operate, too. After hopping in, a passenger gives direction through a tablet PC that stores maps. Tap a point on the map, and Ropits zips off to destination.
But if you're not totally comfortable with the idea of having the car drive you instead of the other way around, Ropits also has a joystick that can be used to steer in emergencies.

Smart Gadgets-Plant Doctor

The Plant Doctor is not just any device that detects the health of your plant.

It is sophisticated with tech and ensures you get the exact readings via the

highly integrated micro-controller technology. The usual suspects of soil moisture,

nutrition content etc. are charted easily. What makes the device even more practical

is that it self powers using the electrolyte in the soil forenergy. The highly

sensitive soil nutrient sensor analyzes the soil and process the information

Dual Music Player That Plays Your MP3 Collection & Your CDs

You want to enjoy your audio CDs while traveling but you also

have a huge MP3 collection at home that you want to take with you.

The ideal solution? DMP, a portable music player that supports

CD and MP3 files. Use the MP3 player as you normally would, hang it

around your neck, clip it on your jeans or place it in your pocket.

Otherwise open both sides and insert your favorite CD and you got

yourself a CD player my friend. Now that’s music to myears.

Android has a Sandbox concept, applications runs in Sandbox and restrict access to rest of the system resources. Access to the system resources depend on what permission user provide while installing a particular app. You don’t need an antivirus in such case as Sandbox will be ineffective and it will not allow an antivirus for deeper scan.

NEW BLACKBERRY Z10

Highlights

 - 4.2 Inch HD Display
 - 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Dual Core Processor
 - 2GB RAM
 - 8MP Camera
 - 16GB On-Board Storage
 - 1800 MAh Battery

The Z10 ditches the traditional QWERTY keypad that has become a hallmark of RIM BlackBerry in favour of a full touchscreen device. Featuring a 4.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 768, the Z10 has a pixel density of 356ppi – a touch higher than the iPhone 5′s.

Inside, there is some confusion with regards to the Z10′s processor. BlackBerry only revealed that the Z10 is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, with no mention of the company producing it. The Verge and Ars Technica state that the processor is a Texas Instruments OMAP 4470, but others, like CNET and CrackBerry, states that the processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus. Otherwise, there is also a generous 2GB of RAM, as well as 16GB of flash storage. There’s also a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB memory cards.

Round the back, the Z10 has the industry-standard 8MP camera which is capable of shooting 1080p videos. The camera’s software also has a nifty feature called Time Shift, which snaps several shots at quick intervals, and users can then select the best shot – similar to Samsung’s Best Face and Nokia’s Smart Shoot features. In front, the Z10 also sports a 2MP camera capable of 720p video recording. Connectivity wise, there’s the usual set of radios such as WiFi, Bluetooth and also NFC. The Z10 is also an LTE device, there’s also a micro HDMI port, in addition to micro USB.
