New T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 handset hits the FCC

Cheapest Nokia Windows Phone 8 device to date is called Lumia 520 worldwide, but you will be able to buy the Lumia 521 from T-Mobile USA.

The fourth-largest U.S. carrier has already confirmed that it will launch the new Lumia, but did not specify an exact release date. However, I think the time is now, as the smartphone (going by the model number RM-917) has been approved by the FCC today.

As expected, the Lumia 521 has AWS connectivity, and will (probably) sold by T-Mobile 4G HSPA + device. Other than that, expect the new terminal WP8 to offer: a 4-inch screen with 800 x 480 pixels, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, A-GPS, Bluetoth 3.0, 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 5 megapixel rear camera, 521MB of RAM, MicroSD card support (up to 64GB), 8GB of internal memory and a 1430 mAh battery.

I guess T-Mobile will sell the Nokia Lumia 521 free on the contract. The vehicle is already selling two Windows Phone 8 mobile phones – Nokia Lumia 810, HTC and 8X, both offered for $ 0 with new arrangements of 2-year contract.

U.S. aside, the Lumia 520 is going to be released in most of the world soon, even in large markets like China and India – where the smartphone has considerable potential to become a best-seller.
